I became an aunt at 19 years old and this past Shabbos was that nephew’s bar mitzvah! It’s always interesting to me to see how my feelings vary around different milestones;
I’m determined to make the most of my Kindle and I want to always have a good book downloaded and ready to go. Here are a dozen books I’d like to read in 2025.

I recently read Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss and though it’s…different? than anything I’ve read before, it’s gotten me thinking.
We’re really at the end of the calendar year and I’m pinching myself. This year was FULL of ups and downs, and I’d like to give a shout-out to the things that helped me along (I did this last year, too).
Hello, all. I can’t believe the whole of last week went by without any posts. I’ve had such a busy couple of weeks and kept wanting to check in here and running out of time every day.
Here’s another winter light: my half-birthday falls in December and this year I’m going to take the day (which is not a work day) to celebrate it.
The “Sunday scaries” are the feelings of anxiety or dread that arise the day before heading back to work (also known as the “Sunday night blues”). I used to struggle a lot with these feelings (Sunday afternoons could feel so heavy), but after learning a few strategies, this part of the week has gotten a lot easier.
