Summer Newsletter 4/13

Hello, all! Here we are at the end of June! They say that June, July, and August are the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the summer, which I think is a fair analogy.

This week I wrote about my trip to Yorkshire, England. I loved writing this post, and see the comments for my thoughts on solo travel!

This week was also my (English) birthday. I went out to eat with two friends, and I also got happy birthday emails from three doctors’ offices, the dentist, two banks, and my job’s payroll software. I know they are automated but I appreciated them anyway, ha!

It’s strawberry season and I am loving it. The strawberry is the jewel of summer!

On my trip, I got into listening to the The Secret Garden (1993) album and it is a beautiful 30 minutes.

My job is moving office spaces so we are working remotely for two weeks (this and next), and it feels like a mini summer vacation because things are pretty quiet for me at work, so I’m kind of hanging around. I started to map out an epic 40 day Europe vacation for next summer, for fun (I actually do NOT want to manifest this, I want to be married then and unavailable for an adventure like this, and I also don’t actually want to be away for that long, BUT it is a fun exercise.)

For Artist’s Way week 4 (I skipped last week when I was away), my Artist Date was watching a couple episodes from season 1 of ACGAS. I mentioned this week was mostly hanging around. Lol.

And that’s all for now! Have a good Shabbos!
