And Now We Live

Hi, all. I appreciate your still checking in with my weekly newsletter updates even though my blog has gone pretty quiet for the summer. It’s interesting how life ebbs and flows and changes — there were times I really needed to constantly formulate blog posts to help me make sense of things and cope, and now I’m letting things roll over me and kind of being, in a different way. Part of it is the summer, for sure. I’ve also been doing tonssss of writing for The Artist’s Way (now up to chapter 9) so maybe that’s where I’m doing my processing.

Recently, I put in a lot of effort to try and set myself up to be able to work on my own schedule, with a combination of teaching and private practice. I’m still wanting that, but I’ve put out a lot of feelers and need to let things ride for a bit. I was talking about this with a friend and almost said, “And now we wait,” but what came out was, “And now we live.”

And that’s it, isn’t it? Living without waiting. Doing what we can with where we are.
