Guess what? This month, I…
did not check off any goals from my yearly list! (It was still a busy month).
Here’s what’s left, in case you’re interested:
Donate blood. I tried! I wasn’t eligible, though.
Finish one jar of (240) vitamin D supplements. I’m working on it. I may or may not actually finish the jar by the end of the year but I’ve taken it fairly regularly – yet the jar seems endless, ha.
Literature review for dissertation proposal. This begins this week. I am nervous about managing this with everything else (i.e. teaching and my full-time job) but iy”H it will be okay.
Four nature experiences for the four elements. I did not do any of these, at least not intentionally. I can still try to do these in the fall, though.
Teach in an MSW program. I’ve applied to a few but nothing has come through for me. So this may not happen this calendar year. But I have taught a few undergraduate courses.
Watch five classic children’s movies. I watched Home Alone on the way home from London so that’s 1/5. I don’t think I noted it on my June list.
Ballet class. My intention was to aim for ten. Maybe will try, maybe will drop.
See private clients. I’m not really working on this – I set up a therapist profile but have a really busy fall coming up and I think it’s just going to ride for now. But once I’m certified as a JTTS instructor I really hope to teach the class to a private group. We shall see.
Lingering trainings. I have one more and it’s text-based and really annoying so I keep putting it off. But it will happen. It must happen!
So this is 9/25 that remain but a few are underway. Not terrible! I’ve checked off two-thirds of my list and we are two-thirds of the way through the calendar year so that’s pretty much on target. I highly doubt I will check off (or even want to check off) every last item, but I do see a few more as being realistic for this year. Well, we’ll check in again at the end of the month!
