I’ve learned a lot about the field of positive psychology, which is focused on the positive aspects of life — like optimism, hope, connection, character strengths, and meaning — and how to nurture flourishing and wellbeing.
So since I had this conversation with my therapist, not much has changed. I feel less and less connected to the process of shidduchim because as far as I can see, there is nothing further I can do without sacrificing a measure of my mental health. I’m not prepared to do that,
