Hi all,
It’s hard to believe, but Pesach begins two weeks from tomorrow. Do you have plans? Yom Tov is often challenging for a variety of reasons, so if you’re not looking forward, you are definitely not alone.
This year I plan to be home all YT. I need to work on chol hamoed, so I’m glad that there’s a Sunday in there. Two siblings are coming with their kids for first days, and another is coming during chol hamoed through the following Shabbos. I am excited to see my cute nieces and nephews but I know I’ll need a place to escape to at intervals.
Consider this your friendly reminder to curate your YT reading supply. My mantra is “Read the way you want to feel.” To me, this often means not reading the frum magazines but having some engaging books to get lost in. I’ve been putting books on hold at the library and looking forward to pleasant reading times ahead!
Do you have plans for Pesach? Any great books to recommend? (I’m mostly interested in nonfiction, children’s lit, or historical fiction.)
