Hello, all. Recently I’ve found that it is harder for me to formulate posts for this blog. I want to and I’ve loved it, but for reasons unclear I’m not feeling so generative. It feels a bit like trying to pour from an empty cup. The irony is that that analogy is usually used to describe burnout and I don’t feel burnt out, simply…poured out? As if I’ve given what I have and am waiting for a rainfall to refill me.
This doesn’t mean that I will stop blogging — this blog is truly one of the joys of my life and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. What it probably means is that I’ll be posting less frequently over the summer, maybe once or twice a week? I wish I could tell you more definitely because I know inconsistency is annoying, but I honestly don’t know where things will be at.
In the meantime, I would LOVE to know – what topics are you interested in reading about? That would be so very helpful!
I appreciate your being here!
Have a beautiful Shabbos.

Summer is the dry season?
I love your seasons talk. You’ve been doing a lot of it mean and I think of it a lot.
Oh, haha maybe? Yes, seasons are a little bit of an obsession right now, for some reason!
I’m sorry to hear this! I don’t comment as often as I could, but I read every post and look forward to your insights.
I enjoy hearing about your adventures and lists and especially appreciate your authentic sharing about the high and low tides of this stage of life.
Thank you, that means a lot! I’m still here, just refueling!
