Rereading The Secret Garden made me dream of having a garden of my own (I put it on the newest version of my life list). I loved the following quotation from Frances Hodgson Burnett in Unearthing the Secret Garden:
As long as one has a garden one has a future, and as long as one has a future one is alive.
What would you plant in your garden? I would plant a load of tulips (of course), and all kinds of roses. I also love poppies, and bluebells (if I have a cluster of trees to plant them under). I am no horticultural expert, but these are the flowers on my list so far.
