Summer Update Week 2/13

This week in review:

I gave my midterm. There were some tech issues per usual but mostly it was fine.

Stayed pretty much up to date on my grading for the asynchronous course, bH, because the students have weekly assignments and there are 33 students.

Journaling course with sixth graders ended this week! They were so very sweet and I would do it again. Maybe I will!

Held penultimate Journal to the Self class with my adult group. It goes so fast!

Finished reading and took some notes on Big Time, by Laura Vanderkam. I enjoyed this!

Watched 1776! Such a delight to revisit this, last I watched it I was in high school.

Had an orange cream custard at Rita’s in honor of my birthday. I missed Rosh Chodesh Sivan (by a lot, yes), so this was my second Rita’s custard of the season. I really liked this one and would get it again.

Packed and weighed my carryon (then unpacked it) because I was a bit worried about the 22 lb. weight limit. It weighed 23.2 lbs so I feel a lot better.

After trying several flavors of Spindrift, with which my work fridge is stocked, concluded that the ones I like are lemon, orange, lime, and grapefruit, basically in that order.

Had my annual well visit (for your information).

And I think that sums it up!

Have a wonderful, restful Shabbos!
