Today is my birthday. BH. I’m 34! I’ve come to really appreciate getting to be here, getting to live days, months, years of life. This appreciation has come with unfortunately experiencing some losses, and with my exposure to many, many people facing serious illness through my job.
It is strange to think that I’ve now begun the stretch to 35. That seems like a significant number in the life of a woman. But then again, it is just a number! Your body doesn’t know your birthday, as a doctor once said.
Laura Vanderkam points out that a year is 8,760 hours. Subtracting hours spent on work, commuting, sleep, and other fixed obligations still leaves many hours – potentially thousands – to fill.
What will fill my next 8,760 hours beH?
Wishing you a day filled with magic, because…why not?
