Board Games

We’re heading into a week with the family! Last Pesach, we spent time with relatives in E”Y, and one of the highlights of our time together was playing lots and lots of board games. I hadn’t played anything in years, and I felt part of my brain come back to life the more we played.

These board games are so much fun:

Perpetual Commotion. So addictive.

Rummikub. This classic is a favorite around here.

Set. Oh, man, I am so bad at this one, but I actually feel my brain sharpening as I play, so it’s oddly satisfying.

Snorta. This is a noisy, funny memory game and I have totally played it in a group of adults.

5 Second Rule. In case you thought you had a way with words…

Also, my friend recommends Carcossone.

Do you like to play games with family or friends? Do you have any recommendations for us? Specifically, I’m looking for more good word games.
