Though I didn’t get to everything on my winter fun list, I definitely did more than I might have otherwise. Spring in the northeast feels fleeting, and to make the most of the season, these are a few things I would like to do:
Visit the Conservatory Garden in Central Park.
See cherry blossoms in Central Park.
Visit a nearby iris garden (opens mid-May).
See the tulips of Park Avenue.
Play hooky from work one day (we have been informed by HR that sick leave can be used for a mental health day and I plan to use a day for just that).
Visit the Noguchi Museum in Queens.
Take my art walk(s)! I have taken notes on several books about art and architecture in NYC, and plan to follow my self-guided routes when the weather is nice and time allows.
Reread the first four Betsy-Tacy books.
Walk up Broadway (this from my yearly list).
What’s on your spring fun list?
