Hi, all! The past few weeks I was really tired and busy with work stuff so I took a bit of a break. One thing I’ve been pretty consistent about, though, is daily journaling. I hope everyone had a really nice Chanukah. Did you light your own menorah? I did every night this Chanukah, which doesn’t always happen, but I really wanted to this year and it helped me feel very calm and like everything was really okay.
We had two big family parties, one on Motzoei Shabbos and one on Sunday night. For the Sunday party, I was in charge of organizing the grab bag (self-appointed) and it was a lot of fun (the job basically entailed nagging everyone to remember their gifts and going to Amazing Savings to buy extras). I also bought myself two Chanukah presents: this waffle maker (which was a resounding success) and a new interlinear Tehillim (because my copy disappeared a few weeks ago, and I like the updated features in the new edition). The anniversary of this blog’s conception recently passed as well. Wild!
One more thing, this short video by Rabbi Wallerstein about Rav Shteinman ztz”l. Very, very worth watching.
